We are artemidorus

Artemidorus father of two, founder, singer, and guitarist Kris Lahd’s journey to forming the band was driven by a long-held dream inspired by first hearing Dark Side of the Moon as a young child. He went on to pursue a degree in film as well and is an active writer and also performs in his band Cajun Moon.

Elaine Eagle grew up in a house where music was encouraged and began piano lessons at age 10. Her love of music blossomed from there, leading her to begin learning other instruments, composing songs, and singing at every opportunity. She  continues to charm audiences around the region with her tender voice and masterful piano skills.

Rachel Powers loves living life to the fullest: making music, dressing up, dancing in the living room, smiling at new faces, making new friends, baking and cooking delicious healthy food, being a teacher and a student, a mom and wife, a writer, poet, musician, artist, bringing stories to life, and loving those around her. 

Leon Petit not only is a synth genius and composer, he and his wife Lisa also perform as Gideon's Daughter and own and operate a concert and wedding venue, The Old Barn Drinkery and Wedding Venue.

Brad Russell also plays drums and sings in Cajun Moon, Freeway Jones and has one album credit in his former band Illustrated Man (I-Man) 

The only “working” musician in the last three generations of his family, the old “don’t quit your day job” cliche showed up often. Father of two boys, now grown, it's time to sink into his love of rock!

Kevin Ohme was 15 years old when Dark Side of the Moon was released. Nightly he and his brother donned headphones at bedtime and rode the music into dreamland. Kevin came out of musical retirement for the opportunity to experience playing his favorite album, live.

 Sean Williams' guitar influences run the gamut of all guitar greats, from Angus to Zappa.  

With Artemidorus, special attention is given to making sure the sole influence is that of the great David Gilmour. You may see Sean's son shooting money guns in the audience or you might also find him singing and playing some killer solos in his other band The Prefunc.

 Mark Doelman is a multi-instrumentalist: saxophones, electronic wind instruments, Hammond organ, acoustic and electric guitars . He has been performing since the age of 14 most notably with the Lopez Island group SuperWide Groove, The Pat Coast Blues Band, Men of Rhythm Big Band, recorded on Perfectly Korla, Korla Wygal and Her Private Reserve, and Paradise Band Seattle.

Erin McNamee  was born and raised in a small Cascade Mountain town in the Skykomish River Valley. She was a true singer from the time she could speak. Erin graduated Suma Cum Laude from Cornish with a Music degree. She now teaches vocal lessons at her own, Siren Studios and can be found singing in local cafés, pubs breweries and wineries around Central and Western Washington.
